CAF (Coderium Agent Framework) is built and maintained by Coderium, a studio building developer tooling with a focus on agentic coding you can actually trust — not just fast.

Why CAF was built

Many of today's agent coding tools have a narrow scope (helping with just one small part of the development cycle) or loose governance (auto-merging with no guarantee of human review). CAF was built to fill that gap: a wide implementation scope — from ticket to PR — paired with strict governance at every phase.

We believe AI agents can speed up development without sacrificing control. That's why every checkpoint in CAF — Plan, Implement, Verify, PR — requires explicit human review, and why CAF Orchestrator deliberately runs on your own infrastructure, not as a service managed by Coderium.
